Chiang Rai
From: bk magazine December 18th, 2008
More evidence from the Golden Triangle that Chiang Rai is now the place to head to when you want to get away from it all. The latest addition to the growing choice of accommodations is Katiliya (388/1 Moo 4, Pha Sang, Mae Chan, 053-918-336. http://www.katiliya.com/), a new “mountain resort” whose grand villas and suites all come with views of the lush mountainous terrain. Given the emphasis on peace and solitude it’s no surprise to see that the main activities at this relaxing resort include meditation sessions and a series of wellness treatments. To celebrate their opening, Katiliya is offering a flat rate of B7,000 for all of its rooms and villas. The deal includes daily breakfast for two, and a 25% discount on spa services and food. Through Mar 31, 2009.
